While others began showing their art work locally and hopefully going on to New York, self taught artist Tiffany Montaño realized without validation from the New York art community she would never succeed as an artist. Before she had even shown one piece locally she was accepted at the prestigious Agora Gallery in SOHO, New York. From there she was invited to participate in the:

Tiffany became a political activist. Many of her works reflect her political views. Her work can be disturbing but leaves a lasting impression on the viewer.

After a devastating personal loss Tiffany took a year off. She has returned with her new painting "mi corazon es muerto", a tribute to her beloved dog BooBoo.
