Lines
stare back from the silvery reflection.
Vague
recognition, lines etched in time.
Reflections
a pool of memories.
Feeble
moments of a life not lived.
Roads
not taken.
Dreams
forgotten, laid aside to wither and dry.
Brushed
aside, nothing more than unwanted dust.
Kaleidoscope
recognition of a distant past.
Fragments
filtered through milkglass,
distorted
by the refractions of time.
