They spit on me like they would the ground.

Just because of the color of my skin

The remarks they make when they pass me by

They think I just want to get high

They make me wait until the end

They laugh at my pain, they mock my tears

Haven’t I suffered enough? Over thirty five years

Don’t make me live in a world gone by

Where I had to kill not to die.

You look at my pain and say it’s a lie.

You say I fake it just to get high.
